1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly, that is collected automatically when you use the Site, and that we receive from third parties.

Information you provide

  • Contact details: first and last name, phone number, email address, mailing or property address.
  • Mortgage and property details: loan servicer, approximate loan balance, equity position, status of any foreclosure proceeding, hardship description, and other information you voluntarily share to help us evaluate your situation.
  • Communications: messages you send by form, email, SMS, phone, or chat.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, time on site, and click data.
  • Approximate location: derived from IP address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 6.

Information from third parties

  • Public records (e.g., county recorder data such as Notices of Default or trustee sale filings) for properties you ask us to research.
  • Marketing partners, lead-generation networks, and analytics providers, where permitted by law.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, government IDs, or full financial account numbers through this Site. If we ever require such information for a specific service, it will be requested separately and handled under additional safeguards.

2. How We Collect Information

  • When you fill out a form on the Site (including the consultation form, options assessment, or any quiz).
  • When you call, email, text, or chat with us.
  • Through cookies, server logs, and analytics tools as you browse.
  • From referrals, marketing partners, or public records relevant to your request.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and provide the consultation, loss-mitigation, surplus-fund-recovery, or other service you request.
  • Communicate with you by phone, SMS, email, or mail about your case, scheduling, follow-ups, and program updates.
  • Verify identity, prevent fraud, and protect the security of the Site and our services.
  • Operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site and our services.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, audit, and contractual obligations.
  • Send administrative or service-related notices.
  • With your consent, send marketing or educational communications (which you may opt out of at any time).

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where required by law (such as the EU/UK GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (e.g., responding to a consultation).
  • Legitimate interests (e.g., operating the Site, preventing fraud, internal analytics).
  • Consent (e.g., marketing emails or SMS, non-essential cookies). You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation (e.g., responding to lawful requests from authorities).

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation. We may share your information with:

  • Service providers and contractors who help us operate the business, including web hosting, analytics, customer-relationship management (CRM), email/SMS messaging, telephony, document management, and payment processors. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as needed to perform services for us.
  • Loan servicers, lenders, attorneys, real estate professionals, title companies, county recorders, and government agencies as necessary to perform the service you requested (for example, contacting your servicer's loss mitigation department on your behalf, or filing a surplus-fund claim).
  • Legal and regulatory authorities when we have a good-faith belief that disclosure is required by law, court order, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of National Home Support, our clients, or the public.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or insolvency, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent for any other purpose disclosed at the time we collect the information.
"Sale" or "sharing" under California law. While we do not sell personal information for money, certain data exchanges (for example, sharing identifiers with online advertising or analytics tools) may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). California residents may opt out — see Section 12.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, and similar technologies to:

  • Keep the Site working and remember your preferences.
  • Measure traffic and how visitors use the Site (analytics).
  • Deliver and measure marketing campaigns.

Most browsers let you control cookies through settings. Blocking some cookies may impact Site functionality. We may use the following categories: strictly necessary, performance/analytics, functional, and advertising.

7. SMS, Calls & Communication Consent

By submitting a form or calling us, you expressly consent to receive phone calls, text messages (SMS/MMS), and voicemails from National Home Support and its representatives at the phone number you provide, including by automated dialing systems and prerecorded or artificial voice messages, at any time during normal business hours, regarding your inquiry, your case, or services that may be relevant to your situation. Consent is not a condition of receiving any service. Standard message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of marketing SMS at any time by replying STOP. You may opt out of marketing calls by asking to be placed on our internal Do Not Call list. Transactional or service-related communications (for example, a callback you specifically requested) may continue even after a marketing opt-out.

8. Third-Party Services

The Site may use or contain links to third-party services such as Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, GoHighLevel (form and CRM platform), Google Maps, payment processors, calendar tools, and social media. These third parties have their own privacy policies, which govern your interactions with them. We are not responsible for third-party content or privacy practices.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain accurate business records. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature of the relationship, and applicable law.

10. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, devices, and email accounts secure.

11. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete personal information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 17. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act:

  • Right to Know what personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and "sold" or "shared" about you, including categories and specific pieces.
  • Right to Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Right to Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination for exercising any of the above.

To submit a request, email privacy@nationalhomesupport.com or call (682) 610-0007. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will require written verification.

13. Other State Privacy Rights

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (including but not limited to Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Texas, Montana, Iowa, Tennessee, Indiana, and Delaware) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 17.

14. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

15. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry-wide standard for responding to DNT signals, we currently do not respond to them. We do honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where required by law.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Effective" and "Last updated" dates at the top of the Policy when we do. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Site after any change indicates your acceptance of the updated Policy.
